To celebrate our new home in the Financial District, IDEAL announces that our annual race, 5K The IDEAL Way, will be, for the first time ever, a live, in-person event! Thanks to IDEAL parent Nina Heebink for leading the way!

All participants will receive the race-branded fanny pack pictured below and post-run refreshments.

Location: Gather at The IDEAL School of Manhattan, right outside the school building entrance in Queen Elizabeth II Park at 5 Hanover Square, New York, NY 10004. At race time, all participants will walk safely to the start on the greenway path. Both courses start and end on the greenway path. After participants complete their course, they should make their way safely back to IDEAL for refreshments.

Schedule:

9 AM: Check-in, on-site registration at 5 Hanover Square
9:30 AM: Walk to the race start
9:45 AM: Run/walk/wheel race officially begins
10-11:30 AM: Post-run refreshments, in front of school
