Next Steps Internship

One of our Next Steps students has been expanding her responsibilities at The Craft Studio for her weekly internship. Last week, she supported a toddler class at the studio, where she got to participate in a dance party with the young crafters. After the class, she assisted with important behind-the-scenes work by sorting and organizing three large bins of Valentine’s Day supplies. This week, the student worked closely with store owner Lindsey to help test out a new craft project Lindsey is considering introducing at the studio. Together, they created prototypes for heart-shaped dishes made from modeling clay as part of a potential Valentine’s-themed offering. Photos of our students at work are in this Facebook album.
