In the Driver’s Seat
On Friday, October 17, professional race driver Carmen Jorda visited IDEAL to read from her new children’s book, On Track to Win, and the Make it Happen series biography of her, both from Lightswitch Learning. She talked about her book, her journey as a female Formula 1 racer, and took questions from students. Ms. Jorda has competed in GP3, Indy Lights, and the Le Mans racing series, and she works with girls to inspire them to reach for their dreams.
