For the first time ever, the IDEAL School of Manhattan’s High School basketball team has brought home a championship, adding to the league championship our Middle School basketball team won two weeks ago! Six years of grit and determination, along with countless hours of practice, paid off with a thrilling 47-41 High School win against Legacy School on Thursday, March 13. For our Middle School team, this was their second championship, following the girls' team's 2017 MSAL championship victory against Mary McDowell Friends. We want to thank our coaches, from Athletic Director Rory Plunkett to coaches Matt Hostetter, Kylie Elwood, Matt Parker, and Michael Althardt.
