The 2025 IDEAL Gala -- Thanks to All!

A Message from Head of School Janet Wolfe

It was wonderful to see so many friends, families, and faculty members at the Gala on Tuesday, February 25. With over 350 people in attendance, we netted nearly $200,000 to support IDEAL. 

We honored Tracy Nixon and Jane Providenti from GiGi's Playhouse NYC, Mindy Scheier, founder of Walk the Runway, and Alex Reznik, founder of CompletePlayground, who have built amazing organizations dedicated to inclusion.

Joining us were host Frank DiLella, Michael Maliakel and Jamie Schmidt, who worked together on Aladdin on Broadway, Jennifer Sánchez, Stephen Murphy, and DJ Yoshi, who provided the remarkable entertainment (along with the IDEAL Senior Band! 

Thank you to the Gala Committee, led by Christine Mickletz; the Advancement Committee of IDEAL's Board of Trustees, led by Dan Kesten; the Board of Trustees, led by Jay Eisenhofer; and to all of the families, faculty and staff members, and IDEAL students who volunteered, prepared and practiced, donated auction packages, recruited performers, sold raffle tickets, brought friends, promoted the evening, and set up and broke down the venue, all to raise money to benefit our students and community. 

Thank you also to Alexa Arata, Maggie Conklin, Joe Kemp, and Ryan Zaccaro for serving on this year’s Gala Committee, and to all of the other members of the administrative and facilities team who worked to make this event a great evening for all.
