Thanks for Supporting IDEAL

Graphic reads, "Thanks! To the parents, faculty, staff, and friends who made the IDEAL Annual Gala a great event

Thank you for supporting IDEAL at the Gala!
Thanks to the IDEAL community for coming together to celebrate our 16th year as a school (IDEAL was founded in 2005 and opened its doors in 2006) at our Gala on the evening of Monday, April 25. Our 17th Annual Gala brought together 371 community members and honored the work of the education attorneys who help our students and their families. Through our raffle, silent and live auctions, donations, and hand raise for athletics, we raised over $290,000 for the school.

We are grateful to all of the very special guests who helped to make the evening a success. CBS2 news anchor Cindy Hsu, Broadway star Bianca Marroquín, auctioneer Nicole Sales Giles, filmmaker Kristjan Thorgeirsson, and video producer Mark Travis all donated their time and talent to IDEAL. Thanks also to faculty members Sean Cotty, Cameron Seefried, and Will Simbol and their students for the uplifting performances we enjoyed and to Athletic Director Wayne Clark for leading the hand raise.

This event would never have been possible without the hard work and thoughtful planning of our tremendously talented Gala Committee led by co-chairs Jon Connolly and Rachel and Rob McQueen, along with committee members Genevieve Brown, Lucy Guinness, Jay Janicki, Jannette Lopez, Megan Mack, Christine Mickletz, Denise Peled, and Vanessa Polanco. I am also deeply grateful to IDEAL’s Board President Jay Eisenhofer and Advancement Committee Chair Tracy Nixon who, along with all of the members of our Board of Trustees, contributed in countless ways to ensure the success of our event. Behind the scenes, IDEAL staff members Maggie Conklin, Joe Kemp, and Sam Stahl provided support to the committee and took care of every last detail.

Most of all, we are grateful to you, our friends, for contributing to the success of IDEAL’s 17th Annual Gala. The opportunity to celebrate together and support the school that we love meant more than words can say and will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
