We were honored to host Emmy-award-winning journalist Cheryl Wills and her brother, cartoonist Clarence “Big Boy” Wills, for an interactive day that included a reading to Lower School students, live cartooning, and an inspiring keynote address. Upper School students shared their work as well, including several in a small setting that Cheryl captured on video. She ended her New York Tonight broadcast on Monday with this segment where students presented and discussed their work with her. Congratulations to all the teachers and students who worked so hard throughout the year to produce an impressive array of projects and presentations, from water rights to the disappearance of indigenous people, and advocated for those who are underrepresented in society. Photos of the day’s events are in this Facebook album.
