IDEAL on the News!

On Tuesday, April 9, co-authors Sheletta Brundidge and her son, Andrew, visited IDEAL, accompanied by Gus Rosendale and a camera operator from NBC New York. Mr. Rosendale interviewed the authors and then took video in the third grade class, where Andrew read his book, and Ms. Brundidge led the students in an activity where they created the cover of their own autobiographical children’s books. The pair donated copies of Andrew Does His Dance to the students and school and promised to return when the family’s next book is finished. Photos from the visit are in this Facebook album.
