"The IDEAL School has vastly exceeded all of our expectations."

We sought a small, supportive school for our daughter that would address our daughter's needs while allowing her to learn with typically developing peers.  The IDEAL School has vastly exceeded all of our expectations.  In particular, we have been very pleased with the support services (speech, OT) that our daughter receives.  The critical difference is the school's approach.  These services are provided during the school day in a seamless way so that the children who use them do not miss any class or activity.  This means the children are not "pulled out" during the day, and they do not need to seek these core services outside the school, which can make for a very long day or crowd out other activities.  The other fundamental difference is that at IDEAL, the classroom teachers integrate the goals from the special services into the classroom, creating an atmosphere of constant positive reinforcement.  Simply put, we are amazed at the progress that our daughter has made in just one year at IDEAL.
