The Campaign to Build The IDEAL School

Phase I of The Campaign to Build The IDEAL School was launched in 2005 with the goal of raising $6 million to fund initial capital investments and operating expenses for the school from founding through the end of the 2010/2011 school year.  Initial start-up funds for the program and multi-year commitments to the school in excess of $3 million were pledged by founding benefactors, over half of the funds required.  Since the campaign's launch, an additional $1 million has been raised through the school's annual development events including the Annual Benefit, Victorian Gardens Celebrations, and smaller events hosted by trustees and friends of the school.  We are well on our way to reaching our goal and donations to the Campaign can be made on-line or by mail.

Phase II is a capital campaign to fund the design and construction of the school's permanent facilities projected to be completed by June 2012.  The school currently leases our facilities at 4 West 76th Street and enrollment projections will necessitate moving to larger facilities within the next few years.   Phase II will be officially launched in Janurary 2010 and additional information regarding the campaign will be available at that time.
