The IDEAL School began as an idea. The pioneering spirit of our founders, the commitment of our staff, and the generous financial support of families, friends, and foundations made that idea a reality.

The Pioneer Fund, IDEAL’s annual giving program, honors this legacy and ensures our mission will continue. Gifts to The IDEAL School’s unrestricted Pioneer Fund directly support the current fiscal year’s operating budget. These donations help the school meet operating expenses not covered by tuition income. All gifts to the Pioneer Fund are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

The mission of The IDEAL School is unique among New York City independent schools. Our goal is to educate inquisitive, driven, and compassionate students to be pioneers in their own right, all while promoting equity in education, providing access to underserved communities, and broadening the definition of diversity.
