Like all non-profit independent schools, The IDEAL School relies on the generosity of families, friends, and foundations to meet expenses not covered by tuition. Giving at IDEAL is about much more than budgets and bottom lines – it is about supporting our mission of inclusion, our core values of diversity, acceptance, and excellence, and our incredible students.
A gift to The IDEAL School supports the belief that every child deserves access to a top-notch, independent school education.
By giving to IDEAL, you help to ensure that our students will receive an individualized, differentiated education that will allow them to reach their full potential. You will help bring meaningful technology into our classrooms, equipping students with skills they need to be successful in the 21st Century. You will support the professional development of teachers, providing opportunities for staff to hone their craft. And you will preserve the socioeconomic diversity of our community, helping to create a school that is truly reflective of the world in which we live.
Every gift to IDEAL is meaningful and makes a difference. Below are various ways to support our school and its mission.
Checks and credit card payments are two of the easiest ways to give to IDEAL. We accept all major credit cards. Make an online donation with a credit card on our online donation page. Please make checks payable to The IDEAL School of Manhattan and mail to 314 West 91st Street, New York, NY 10024, Attn: Kristen Worrell, Director of Advancement.
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Some also provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Most of these programs match contributions dollar-for-dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. To find out if your company will match gifts, ask your Human Resources Department for more information.
