This Sunday evening, I am looking forward to the week ahead, our first full week of school this year, and to getting back into the swing and routine of school-year weekends, as well as weekdays.

This article from the August 15, 2016, issue of Education Week, written by Kate Stoltzfus, supports the advisory curriculum and identity/ability curriculum we teach at The IDEAL School. The author also mentions the new book about Danish parenting called, The Danish Way of Parenting; What the Happiest People in the World Know About Raising Confident, Capable Kids, as well as other educational studies on how to increase empathy.
