Admissions Process

Steps to apply:

1. Submit a completed Application for Admission with a $50 fee for each applicant (please make checks payable to The IDEAL School). If you are applying for financial aid, the application fee is waived.

2. Submit a school report release form to your child’s current school.

3. The school will process your application and will contact you to arrange your tour and interview.

The cut-off birthdate for students applying to Kindergarten is September 1st.

Depending on grade placement, parents will be notified of acceptances for the next academic year from mid-February to early March according to the dates specified by the Independent School Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY).
